{"id":18448,"date":"2023-08-15T11:07:52","date_gmt":"2023-08-15T17:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mexpatrealtors.com\/?p=18448"},"modified":"2023-08-15T11:11:05","modified_gmt":"2023-08-15T17:11:05","slug":"mexican-peso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mexpatrealtors.com\/fr\/mexican-peso\/","title":{"rendered":"Comment peut-on pr\u00e9dire ce qui va se passer avec le peso mexicain ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mercredi, nous avons vu le peso mexicain&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsdaily.com\/business\/sweet-16-us-dollar-dips-below-17-pesos\/\">poin\u00e7onnage en dessous de 17<\/a>&nbsp;pour la premi\u00e8re fois en huit ans, et jeudi en d\u00e9but de journ\u00e9e, un affaiblissement soudain de 2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On dit qu'essayer de pr\u00e9dire les taux de change futurs est un jeu de dupes, et au cours de mes 25 ann\u00e9es d'exp\u00e9rience dans le commerce international, j'ai vu un nombre incalculable de dupes s'y essayer. Pr\u00e9voir les taux de change \u00e0 terme n'est jamais simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le raisonnement financier le plus logique pour expliquer la trajectoire d'une monnaie donn\u00e9e peut s'av\u00e9rer compl\u00e8tement erron\u00e9 en raison de d\u00e9veloppements politiques ou macro\u00e9conomiques mondiaux qui n'ont pas grand-chose \u00e0 voir avec le pays en question. Cependant, il existe des facteurs pr\u00e9visibles qui influencent les mouvements des devises et qui peuvent \u00eatre analys\u00e9s et suivis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce bref r\u00e9sum\u00e9, j'expliquerai pourquoi le peso mexicain s'est renforc\u00e9 par rapport au dollar et, plus important encore, ce qu'il faut surveiller pour conna\u00eetre son \u00e9volution future. Notez qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une pr\u00e9diction de la valeur du peso \u00e0 court terme, et que des changements peuvent survenir soudainement en fonction de nouveaux d\u00e9veloppements \u00e9conomiques ou politiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout d'abord, il existe des facteurs sous-jacents qui soutiennent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsdaily.com\/business\/pros-and-cons-of-the-superpeso-a-perspective-from-our-ceo\/\">un peso mexicain g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement fort<\/a>&nbsp;tels que des ratios d'endettement relativement faibles, des flux importants de dollars provenant des envois de fonds, du tourisme et des investissements directs \u00e9trangers, une inflation stable ou en baisse, et la tendance \u00e0 la d\u00e9localisation proche. Tous ces facteurs sont en effet pertinents pour comprendre la force du peso mexicain aujourd'hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais cela explique-t-il pourquoi nous assistons \u00e0 un renforcement aussi rapide et important ? Pas tout \u00e0 fait. Une autre \u00e9quation tr\u00e8s importante \u00e0 examiner est la suivante : Quels sont les taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat actuels au Mexique ?  Quel est le taux d'inflation actuel (et tendanciel) ?  Quel est l'\u00e9cart (la diff\u00e9rence) entre ces deux taux ? Et comment cet \u00e9cart se compare-t-il \u00e0 celui des \u00c9tats-Unis ? Permettez-moi d'illustrer mon propos \u00e0 l'aide de chiffres actuels :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat actuel du Mexique est de 11,25%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le taux d'inflation actuel du Mexique est d'environ 5% et la tendance est \u00e0 la baisse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L'\u00e9cart entre ces deux taux est de plus de 5%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat actuel de la R\u00e9serve f\u00e9d\u00e9rale am\u00e9ricaine est d'environ 5%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le taux d'inflation actuel aux \u00c9tats-Unis est d'environ 5% et tend \u00e0 diminuer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En supposant que le risque d'investir dans les deux pays soit le m\u00eame (ce qui n'est pas le cas), vous pourriez gagner plus de 5% d'int\u00e9r\u00eats sur votre argent au Mexique \u00e0 l'heure actuelle. Vous pourriez gagner essentiellement 0% de plus que les int\u00e9r\u00eats de votre argent aux \u00c9tats-Unis en ce moment m\u00eame. Historiquement, l'argument justifiant cette diff\u00e9rence est qu'une \"prime de risque\" est n\u00e9cessaire pour investir dans des pays comme le Mexique. Bien que cela soit vrai, les facteurs sous-jacents qui soutiennent l'\u00e9conomie mexicaine, comme nous l'avons mentionn\u00e9 plus haut, sont tr\u00e8s solides \u00e0 l'heure actuelle. En outre, l'\u00e9cart actuel entre les taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat et le taux d'inflation au Mexique est si \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu'il rend le peso tr\u00e8s attractif en ce moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour comprendre l'\u00e9volution possible de la situation, il convient de surveiller les taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat, les taux d'inflation et l'\u00e9cart entre les deux taux dans les deux pays. Au d\u00e9but de la journ\u00e9e de jeudi, la forte baisse du peso mexicain a \u00e9t\u00e9 caus\u00e9e en grande partie par les chiffres meilleurs que pr\u00e9vu de la cr\u00e9ation d'emplois dans le secteur priv\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Cela a amen\u00e9 les investisseurs \u00e0 s'attendre \u00e0 de nouvelles augmentations des taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat aux \u00c9tats-Unis, malgr\u00e9 un taux d'inflation qui tend \u00e0 diminuer. Cela aurait pour effet d'augmenter l'\u00e9cart de taux aux \u00c9tats-Unis et de rendre plus attrayant l'investissement en dollars am\u00e9ricains par rapport au peso mexicain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je serais surpris que cette analyse ne vous ait pas donn\u00e9 un mal de t\u00eate \u00e0 ce stade ! Malgr\u00e9 tout le bruit qui entoure les r\u00e9cents mouvements des devises, nous pouvons essayer de voir o\u00f9 elles vont aller en observant attentivement les indicateurs \u00e9conomiques que j'ai d\u00e9crits plus haut.
