La plateforme internationale de l'immobilier\u00a0Far Homes<\/a>\u00a0s'est associ\u00e9e au magazine Expats in Mexico pour sonder la population mexicaine.\u00a0les non-Mexicains sur le co\u00fbt de la vie au Mexique<\/a>. Les r\u00e9sultats donnent un aper\u00e7u du co\u00fbt de la vie pour les \u00e9trangers qui se sont install\u00e9s dans le pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'enqu\u00eate, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en f\u00e9vrier 2023, portait principalement sur les retrait\u00e9s de plus de 55 ans vivant \u00e0 plein temps au Mexique et ayant v\u00e9cu aux \u00c9tats-Unis ou au Canada avant de s'y installer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon Far Homes, qui a puis\u00e9 ses donn\u00e9es dans la base de donn\u00e9es en ligne Numbeo<\/a>Les villes mexicaines se situent dans la moyenne des villes d'expatriation les plus populaires dans le monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La majorit\u00e9 des personnes interrog\u00e9es ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu'elles d\u00e9pensaient moins de 2 200 USD par mois pour leurs frais de subsistance (34,31 T3T), alors que selon les donn\u00e9es de 2021 du Bureau of Labor Statistics des \u00c9tats-Unis, les d\u00e9penses moyennes des m\u00e9nages de retrait\u00e9s aux \u00c9tats-Unis s'\u00e9l\u00e8vent \u00e0 1 4 T 4 185 USD par mois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ce qui concerne les villes mexicaines ayant une population importante de r\u00e9sidents am\u00e9ricains et canadiens, Mexico (44,62) se classe en t\u00eate de l'indice Numbeo du co\u00fbt de la vie (COL), qui est calcul\u00e9 sur la base des prix des biens de consommation (\u00e9picerie, restaurants, transports, services publics) et n'inclut pas les d\u00e9penses de logement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces prix fournis par les utilisateurs sont ensuite compar\u00e9s \u00e0 ceux de la ville de New York ; si une ville a un indice du co\u00fbt de la vie de 80, par exemple, Numbeo estime qu'elle est 20% moins ch\u00e8re que New York (\u00e0 l'exclusion des co\u00fbts de logement).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ville de Mexico est suivie par Canc\u00fan (43,14), M\u00e9rida (41,85) et Puerto Vallarta (41,15). Quer\u00e9taro et Puebla City se situent au bas de l'\u00e9chelle, avec respectivement 40,53 et 38,77, tandis que Monterrey est la ville la plus ch\u00e8re du Mexique, avec un indice du co\u00fbt de la vie de 45,43, ce qui en fait la 99e ville la plus ch\u00e8re des Am\u00e9riques dans la base de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Si le co\u00fbt de la nourriture pour les expatri\u00e9s vivant au Mexique est comparable \u00e0 celui des \u00c9tats-Unis, selon les donn\u00e9es de l'enqu\u00eate Far Homes (71,4% d\u00e9pensant jusqu'\u00e0 $500 US par mois), les \u00e9conomies r\u00e9alis\u00e9es sur le loyer et les soins de sant\u00e9 contribuent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt global de la vie. La majorit\u00e9 des personnes interrog\u00e9es dans le cadre de l'enqu\u00eate Far Homes d\u00e9pensent entre 1 450 et 1 100 euros par mois pour le loyer, et 62% d\u00e9clarent ne d\u00e9penser que jusqu'\u00e0 1 110 euros par mois pour les soins de sant\u00e9, y compris les m\u00e9dicaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme on pouvait s'y attendre, l'enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que le \"co\u00fbt de la vie\" \u00e9tait l'une des principales raisons de s'installer au Mexique (26,5%), juste derri\u00e8re le \"mode de vie\" (32,2%). Le \"climat\" arrive en troisi\u00e8me position, avec 24,2% des personnes interrog\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
